ABOUT
Namaste dear Yogis,

What comes into your mind when you hear the word Yoga?
Well, if you think of men and women in seemingly impossible poses, then you may have an inkling of what Yoga is. But that's just it - an inkling. The physical postures are just a small part of the whole system and, very practically, where most of us begin.

I was lucky enough and got in contact with Yoga for the first time in Ubud, which is the spiritual center of Bali. It is a place where Yoga, Philosophy and Spirituality are connected with eachother.
For me Yoga was always more than just a workout. It helped me to overcome a rough path in my life, helped me to heal mentally and become a better version of myself.
After spending 6 life-changing months in Ubud, I made a decision: going back to my old job as an Engineer was not an option anymore.
One year later I completed my 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training in India, where I studied the traditional and devotional Yoga.
Because Yin-Yoga helped me to overcome my demons the most, I completed a 300hrs Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India.
Rooted in Classical Hatha and influenced by many styles and teachers, my classes are fun, focused, and very naturally flowing. Don't be surprised if you find yourself in a "cirque du soleil" pose one minute, then busting over in ridiculous group laughter, chanting mantras or a blissful moment of silence.
I am bringing Pranayama, Meditation and group intention into every class, providing a truely balanced, grounded and holistic experience.
My vision is to share this beautiful practice in order to empower people and help them grow. I want to show you that Yoga is so much more than just a workout - it is a lifestyle.
One of my favorite teachers always says: "Yoga begins when you step off the mat."

Om shanti,
Anja
